William Henry Ackert - Civil War Discharge Papers

William Henry Ackert was a member of New York Volunteers, Company H, 5th Regiment Heavy Artillery and enlisted January 18th 1864 and served until the end of the war and was discharged July 19th, 1865. (He was my 2nd GG and my mother was going to throw this out last year).
